To reach Round Island by car, follow the A3083 south towards The Lizard. Turn onto Lighthouse Road and continue to Lizard Lighthouse. Note that access roads are narrow with limited passing places, so drive carefully and allow extra time.
The nearest railway station is Redruth, approximately 22 miles away. From there, you'll need to arrange a taxi or hire a car to reach the cottage at the southern tip of the peninsula.
