Gadlas, Pwllheli

Gadlas is a large self-catering holiday estate in Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant, Powys, mid-Wales. It sits in the foothills of the Berwyn Mountains and is purpose-built for large groups. The estate can sleep up to 60 guests across multiple cottages making it one of the largest self-catering venues in Wales. There is no hot tub at this property.

The setting is deeply rural. You are surrounded by open farmland and mountain scenery in the Tanat Valley. The village of Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant is within walking distance and the Berwyn Mountains rise directly behind the estate.

The accommodation is spread across several individual cottages on the estate including Gadlas Farmhouse, The Granary, The Stables and several smaller cottages. Collectively these provide multiple bedrooms sleeping up to 60 guests with a range of bathrooms and shared social spaces across the individual units.

Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall one of the tallest in Wales at 240ft is 4 miles away (10 minutes). Lake Vyrnwy is 12 miles (20 minutes). Oswestry is 14 miles (25 minutes). Welshpool is 18 miles (30 minutes).

Gadlas is best for large family gatherings, milestone celebrations and group retreats. The rural mountain setting and multi-cottage layout make it genuinely well-suited to big groups wanting private exclusive-use space.
