The Old Vicarage

The Old Vicarage is a detached property sleeping 16 guests in Rosedale Abbey, North Yorkshire. This impressive house sits in two acres of enclosed gardens right in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors. Groups get four reception rooms and plenty of space to spread out. Table tennis in the garage keeps everyone entertained.

Rosedale Abbey is a lovely village with two pubs and two tea rooms. Superb walks start right from the doorstep. Stunning views fill every window. The North Yorkshire Moors offer exhilarating walking country all around.

Eight bedrooms sleep 16 people across three floors. Bedroom One has a king-size bed with en-suite shower room. Bedrooms Two and Three offer twin singles. Bedrooms Four, Five and Six feature king or super-king beds with en-suite shower rooms. Bedrooms Seven and Eight on the second floor have super-king zip-and-link beds with en-suites. Seven bathrooms serve the whole group. Four reception rooms include a drawing room, sitting room, orangery and dining room seating sixteen.

Flamingo Land theme park sits nearby for family days out. The North York Moors Railway (8 miles, 20 minutes) runs heritage trains through stunning scenery. Pickering (9 miles, 25 minutes) offers shops and cafes. Helmsley (14 miles, 30 minutes) has its castle and market square.

The Old Vicarage works brilliantly for milestone birthdays and family gatherings. Previous guests celebrated 90th birthdays here. Everyone from age 4 to 90 loved the house.
